Jealous

So I realized I am a bit jealous of some people.  Its ok I will admit it freely.  I am jealous of those of you who do not sweat!  In the past few weeks I have just about had it with sweat!  I hate it..I hate the salt left on my face after a good workout.  I hate the sweat in my eyes most of all.  Ugh! And the worst part is I am the person that sweats just thinking about working out.  I usually judge my workouts  by my sweat ring.  If the top boob sweat meets the under the boob sweat..it has been one good workout!  And the horrible part is that I am complaining about it in March..I have just begun to sweat!

Sweating is the sign of a great workout for me! :)

I'm jealous of those that do sweat! If it's hot or cold, I don't sweat. Walking, jogging, strength training? NOTHING. Sigh. I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too huh?

xx

I'm not a huge fan of sweating, either...but if I don't sweat, then I don't feel as if I worked hard enough. Ah well.

I can't believe there are people who don't sweat! I kind of like it--it makes me feel badass and helps regulate my body temp. I'm even kind of impressed when I have a layer of salt on me after I'm done. What I don't like though is when it runs into my eyes--that really stings!

During the Malibu Marathon, at mile 21, the salt build up on my face got into both of my eyes. Lucky for me it happened before an aide station. My running pal lead me over to some water to get it out.
I even noticed at some point it didn't feel like I was sweating at all, which kinda scared me because I knew I must be getting dehydrated. After hydrating well at the next station, I started to sweat again. Believe me, sweating is a good thing!

Patty I do the same thing during a half..at some point I stop sweating..but I do drink while I run..so not much else I can do on that note..I just can't stand the stinging eyes!

Just call sweat "awesome-sauce" , nobody will know the difference.

I hate to sweat unless it is during a workout!!
During a workout - standard. (I can usually wring my sports bra out - nice, huh?!)
Sweating at night - not so nice!!
Plus, sweating during running is good. I used to coach college distance runners and one year we had a female runner who never sweat (Texas in August - that is bad). We had to hose her off during many workouts to help her cool her body. It was a little scary.

Sweat is just the body's natural way of cooling itself. Everyone sweats -- it just shows up differently for everyone! Sweating is healthy.
